Cypress Bay High School has been the home of the Lightning Basketball Camp for 18 years.

Campers ages 5-15
We will be utilizing the gymnasium, outside courts, and all available areas.
We use a variety of basketball hoops to make sure your child is on an age appropriate basket. (7ft, 9ft, and 10 ft hoops)
Traditional athletic gear (sneakers, shorts, t-shirt) Please leave all jewelry at home.
We place them in age appropriate groups first, skill level second.
Each camper receives professional training, lunch, t-shirt, medal, and giveaways. More importantly, we give them a safe, fun environment to learn the game we all love so much. (I believe camp shouldn’t be ran like a bootcamp, but it also shouldn’t be a place to just play games all day. We try to find the balance. Teaching with passion, but also having fun!)

Camp hours are 9am-4pm
The doors open at 8:30 am for parents needing early dropoff.
We do ask you to pick up your child as close to 4:30 pm as the gym is used by school teams after camp. Have your child bring a book, cards, or another activity.
The ratio of coaches to campers is 9 to 1 or less.
Lunch is INCLUDED.
Lunch menu is still being finalized. In the past we have used Mcdonalds, Subway, and Pappa John’s.
The canteen is open each day for snacks. You may start an account so your child can make purchases when they want a snack.
You may make a $50 per week/camper deposit right away to hold your child’s spot by mailing it to:

You may pay your entire balance during the registration process online. You may also pay your balance the first day of camp for your child if you sent in a deposit.

Parents are welcome to come watch. Please call ahead and let us know. Due to security gates will be locked most of the day.
